The Philippines moved up once again to its all-time high in the FIFA World Rankings.

The Azkals climbed 13 spots to No. 124 in the latest edition of the FIFA World Rankings, the best ever placing for the men’s national football team.

The Azkals downed Bahrain, 2-1, last June 11, and followed it up with a 2-0 victory over Yemen on June 17 to win their first two matches in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Philippines are currently tied with North Korea on top of Group 1 with six points each.

The Azkals will return to action on September 8 against Uzbekistan.

Meanwhile, Argentina took over the top spot in the world rankings, knocking off World Cup champions Germany, who are now in second place.

Belgium, Colombia, and the Netherlands round out the top five.
