Venezuela’s Mariem Velasco was crowned this year’s Miss International.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated congratulated Ahtisa on her win.
Manalo made it to the Top 15 during the beauty pageant’s ongoing coronation at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Manalo is hoping to bring home the Miss International crown for the Philippines this year. The country so far has six Miss International titlists, the latest being Kylie Versoza in 2016.

On July 26, 2018, it was announced through Miss Earth Organization’s social media accounts that the pageant will be held in the Philippines again from October 6 to November 3.
The live telecast of the pageant’s coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City for the third consecutive year.
On October 20, 2018, Miss Earth announced in their Facebook page that they will have this year’s Eco-Media Award winners an automatic spot in the Top 18. Two candidates will earn a spot through the preliminary panel of judges and by the votes of social media.
