Every year, UAAP students and alumni sacrifice their time, energy and effort just to secure tickets to the most awaited events every UAAP season. Some people line up 24 hours prior to the ticket-selling day, in desperate hopes that they will be also rewarded with passes to one of the most important social events in the country. Some of them take their portable sleeping gear, bringing some food to the ticket-selling venue and spending their night in high hopes. And then they realize the morning after, their sacrifices have been all put to naught by the scalpers who are just as willing to take those tickets away from them.
The UAAP CDC Fans complain about the way they lined up almost a day before the ticket-selling and how they ended up with nothing. It’s the most frustrating feeling for a fan who exerts effort – to see scalpers who just need to show up get away with the tickets. What’s worse is that the people who have the nerve to do this are people who are poor. I’ve been hearing stories that they are doing a lot of tricks to cheat other people to gaining access to tickets. Scalpers will be there but the SM MOA Arena Management have a lot of explaining to do.
Tickets to UAAP Cheerdance Competition’s Ticket went on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
And in less than an hour, these were sold out.
The tickets for the highly-anticipated UAAP Cheerdance Competition will go on sale on Thursday morning at the Coral Ticket Booth of Mall of Asia Arena. In a tweet on its official account, SM tickets announced Monday that tickets selling will start at 10 a.m. at all of its outlets. There will be no online selling of tickets for the Cheerdance Competition, one of the most awaited events every UAAP season.Tickets are pegged at P450 for the Patron VIP and Patron section, P400 for Lower Box, P175 for Upper Box and P75 for the General Admissions.Four tickets will be sold for every person in line. Some of the participating schools have also already started releasing to tickets to students. The UAAP Cheerdance Competition is set on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Below are the tweets and facebook posts of the Upset Netizens:
Hey @smtickets I just want to let you know that you are a big disappointment. Not because #UAAPCDC2018 fans got few tickets, but the fact that you tolerate scalpers. It’s an obvious inside job from sm ticket crew.

#UAAPCDC2018 tickets will be distributed to scalpers before 10AM Nov. 15. We know it but we will not do anything to stop it because being patay gutom is what we are.
