vivafilipinas27112024_1Chito Miranda, the frontman of the iconic OPM band Parokya ni Edgar, recently caught the attention of netizens after sharing an alleged letter from a company addressed to his wife, Neri Naig-Miranda. The letter, posted by Chito on Instagram, addresses the company’s failure to distribute shares to its investors. In the letter, the company apologized to Neri for being involved in their financial issues. It began with, “Dear Ms. Neri, I want to begin by expressing my sincere apology on the current issues that Dermacare is going through right now, to which you are not supposedly to be part of.” The company admitted to having difficulties distributing shares and acknowledged concerns regarding fairness and transparency, stating, “As you are likely aware, there is a current issue surrounding our inability to distribute shares to some of our investors. We understand and share your concern for fairness and transparency in this matter.”

The letter also requested Neri to reconsider her involvement, warning that taking sides in the dispute could complicate the situation. “While we respect your desire to support the investor in question, we kindly request that you reconsider your involvement in this matter. Taking sides in a complex financial dispute can escalate the situation and hinder our ability to reach an equitable resolution,” it added. In his Instagram caption, Chito defended his wife, emphasizing her integrity and generosity. “Wala siyang kinuhang pera sa ibang tao, lahat ng pera nila na kay Chanda, ang may-ari ng Dermacare. Sobrang bait po ni Neri… as in sooobra,” he wrote. Chito also mentioned a person named ‘Chanda,’ reportedly the owner of Dermacare, whose name was mentioned in the letter.

The post garnered significant reactions from fans and celebrities, many of whom praised Neri for her kindheartedness and expressed support for the couple during this challenging time. Chito and Neri, who married in December 2014, have built a strong family together. Neri, a former actress turned successful entrepreneur, is admired for her business ventures and dedication to her family. The couple shares two children, Miggy and Cash, born in 2016 and 2021, respectively. Chito’s post sheds light on the couple’s struggles and underscores his commitment to protecting Neri amidst public scrutiny.
