Filipino volleyball star Alyssa Valdez is very happy after being chosen as the flag bearer for the Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
She said that it is a great honor, but also a great responsibility so she is very grateful for choosing her again.
She first became a flag bearer in the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore.
It will be remembered that Alssa was chosen by Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino because she is not only the face of volleyball in the country but rather in the entire country.
For the first time, all Filipinos will be parading in the opening ceremony, with only Tolentino and chef-de-mission Chito Loyzaga being the only men in the parade.
