The local government of Muntinlupa has finalized the implementation of the liqour ban in selected areas in the city, in conjunction with the 2023 Bar Examination.
According to Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon, the LGU will implement the liquor ban within a 500 meter radius of San Beda College Alabang which will serve as the testing center and main headquarters.
The liquor ban will be implemented on the following days: September 16-17, September 19-20, and September 23-24, from 9PM on the first day to 10PM on the next day.
The mayor explained, the said step is to ensure the safety of the examinees, Bar officials, and other visitors.
At the same time, the mayor encouraged the residents who live near the said university to follow this step.
The mayor will ensure that anyone who violates this will face appropriate fines and punishments.
