The Filipinos should be reminded of their responsibility to protect our country’s sovereignty.
This was announced by Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro as he commemorates the 127th anniversary of the death of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal today, December 30.
The secretary also said that Rizal was a visionary and patriot who inspired others to protect freedom through words and ideals. Sec. also urged. teodoro the Filipinos to unite in protecting the peace and independence we fought for.
He also said that may the flame of love for our country remain in our hearts and minds and uphold the honor and courage of Filipinos.
