A mall movie theater in BGC, Taguig is said to have run out of tickets for the movie “Katips” by award-winning director and writer Atty. Vince Tañada, said former Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, according to her tweet this afternoon of August 3.
Former commissioner Kakampink shared a photo of her and Atty. Vince.

It was shared in the comment section that the 6:35PM slot for Katips is already sold out, and the 9:30PM slot is filling up.
“Hi! As of this writing, the 6:35PM showing for #KatipsTheMovie is already sold out. The 9:30PM screening is slowly running out of seats,” according to the tweet with a ‘receipt’ attached.
Guanzon also shared a photo with one of its cast members, Nicole Laurel Asensio, who played the role of “Lara” in the movie.

It can be remembered that Guanzon encouraged the public to watch the Katips. Guanzon and the director of “Maid in Malacañang”, Director Darryl Yap, also clashed several times on social media.
In an interview with “Cristy Ferminute”, Atty admitted. Vince that he didn’t want the film to make money; all he wants is for many to see it as a movie in theaters. This is because it is adapted from his award-winning stageplay. He said that he actually accumulated it from the juice of his being a lawyer.
