The Philippine National Police (PNP) has released a list of areas where they have set up quarantine control points.
This is after Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal were placed under bubble general community quarantine (GCQ) due to the increasing number of COVID 19 cases.
According to PNP spokesperson B/Gen. Ildibrandi Usana has two checkpoints “ingress and egress” which means two border control points.
“Yung boundaries ng NCR plus doon sa strategic areas kung san doon yung boundary po ilo-locate yung checkpoint. Now outside the boundary meron din po yung border control kung sino po yung papasok sa NCR plus. So, kung sila po ay essential worker definitely po sila ay papayagan pero kapag non-essential workers sasabihan lang po yung papasok na bumalik na po,”explained Gen. Usana.
The designated quaratine control points are as follows:
In Bulacan up to the Pampanga boundary, the checkpoint was laid at: 1. DRT Highway, Brgy. Bulualto, San Miguel Bulacan to Gapan, Nueva Ecija 2. Brgy. San Roque Road, Baliuag to Candaba, Pampanga Mac Arthur, Brgy. Gatbuca, Calumpit, Bulacan to Apalit, Pampanga and Brgy San Pascual, Hagonoy, Bulacan to Sapang Kawayan, Masantol Pampanga.
At the NLEX Southbound exit along with the checkpoint are: Pulilan ext; Sta Rita ext .; Bocaue ext; Philippine Arena ext; Meycauayan ext and Marilao exit.
In Cavite-Batangas boundaries are: Brgy. Amuyong, Alfonso, Cavite to Nasugbu, Batangas; Brgy. Sapatang 1, Ternate, Cavite to Nasugbu, Batangas; Brgy. Sungay East and San Jose Tagaytay City to Brgy. Guillermo, Talisay, Batangas.
In the Laguna-Batangas boundary: Brgy. Makiling, Calamba City to Sto. Tomas, Batangas; Brgy. San Agustin, Alaminos, Laguna to Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
And in the Laguna-Quezon boundaries: Brgy. San Antonio 2, San Pablo City, Laguna to Tiaong, Quezon City; Brgy san Antonio Luisana, Laguna to Lucba, Quezon; Brgy. Tunhac, Famy Laguna to Real, Quezon And Brgy. San Isidro Majayjay Madlena Road to Lucban, Quezon province.
